This 2km-long lakeside trail has information boards with prints of works by symbolist painter Gustav Klimt (1862–1918), a seminal artist from the Vienna Secession movement. At the turn of the 20th century, he spent regular spells on the Attersee's shores, painting many of his renowned landscapes here; the trail passes his summer residences. The Gustav Klimt Zentrum rents audioguides for the trail (€3).
