Located inside the Joanneumsviertel complex of museums, the Museum of Natural History has an excellent section on geology but is less-than-exciting when it comes to life on the planet. Butterfly buffs will find more than enough pinned to the boards inside cases, however, and a collection of stone slabs from different parts of the world is also interesting.
