In summertime, this peak (2142m) can be reached by cable car, or by the Goldeckstrasse toll road (free with the Kärnten Card). The road stops 260m short of the summit. In winter, Goldeck is popular for skiing. The cable car doesn’t operate from mid-April to mid-June or from mid-September to mid-December.
