North of the central part of pr Nezalezhnastsi, the thoroughfare crosses the Svislach River and then parkland on both sides, before coming into striking pl Peramohi (Victory Sq), marked by a giant Victory Obelisk and its eternal flame, which is directly beneath the obelisk underground.
