Hidden 300m west of the Eupen–Bütenbach road (1km south of Signal de Botrange and 2.5km north of Ovifat), this information centre has a museum that explains the Hautes Fagnes’ evolution through a geological ‘time tunnel’ and examines the long-term effects of sheep grazing, logging and peat extraction (peat heated local houses right up until the 1960s). Sadly the audio guide is far too slow and the 25-minute movie isn't in English. You can access Hautes Fagnes trails from here also.
