The ‘world’s first’ casino, originally built in 1770, is one of a trio of grand neoclassical buildings at the centre of town, along with the original 1862 bathhouse (not currently in use) and the 1908 Exhibition Halls. To gamble or simply to admire the casino’s muralled ceilings you’ll need to be over 21 years of age and have your passport handy.
