'The Balkans' Tallest Tower', this 2008 skyscraper in sleek blue glass has, as the name suggests, a gently twisted design. That probably isn't attraction enough for you to make a special journey to admire it, but should you be waiting for a train, it's worth the walk – just three minutes from the station. A glass elevator whisks you up to the 35th-floor cafe to admire a full city panorama for the price of a coffee.
Or if you climb the stairs one floor higher and pop 1KM in the turnstile, you can see the same views in the open air, albeit from behind safety bars. The lift coming back down feels like it's freefalling.
