Jajce's impressive 21m-high waterfalls mark the confluence of the Pliva and Vrbas Rivers. There are good views from the park as you desend into town from the bus station but for the classic tourist-brochure photo, cross the big Vrbas bridge and turn left on the Banja Luka road. Walk 500m, then descend 150m from the third lay-by on the left through the pinewoods to the viewpoint.
Since 2013 a new sport designed to challenge Mostar for daring is a contest for divers to throw themselves off the arch of the falls. See www.visitjajce.com for details.
