To explore the main Old Town area, walk up ul Sahat Kula stairway from the St Luke campanile, turn left rather than burrowing through a stone tower, and continue up past the tiny, boxlike Dizdar Džamija (Women's Mosque). Inside is mostly bald grass but the ramparts offer sweeping views of the valleys and crags that surround Jajce's urban sprawl.The most photographed feature is the partially conserved Kotromaniċ stone crest beside the entrance portal, and you don't have to pay to see that.
