A steep stone slope leads down into the Velagic House where the 'Ottoman Room' shows how medieval ruling classes of Blagaj would have lived. You're given a glimpse into the rear yard which is actually a beautiful emerald-green island separated by a canal and mill-race from the main house. Then there's a one room 'museum' of traditional tools before you climb back through the 'culture garden', where there's a traditional barbeque and layered sitting area amid the pomegranate trees.
