In a restored 1880 school building, this single-room museum dislays a small range of local furniture and crafts, some of which are for sale. Weaving and embroidery demonstrations are held Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Cabinets of musical instruments and geological samples are displayed in the corridors. The same building hosts the local heritage society, doubles as a tourist office (free maps) and keeps keys to other tourist sights when they close out of season.
