If you follow the Bregava River upstream from central Stolac, you'll pass three very picturesque, 17th-century stone mill races with stone-flagged roofs. The furthest of these is part of a traditional mill-house complex that is itself nearing completion in front of a photogenic 7m-high horseshoe of waterfalls.
