Housed in a former Jesuit monastery, the gallery is among city’s most prestigious spaces for exhibiting modern Croatian and international art. Past exhibits have included Picasso and Chagall, as well as collections of Croatia’s prominent fine artists. The gallery’s gift shop has arty souvenirs, and there's a nice cafe attached. The gallery closes in summer months, typically in August and part of September.
