Focussing on the city and its surrounds, this well laid-out museum has a permanent collection of artefacts dating from prehistory to the end of the Venetian period. There are English translations throughout and the odd bit of video to spice things up. When we last visited there were plans afoot to extend the coverage up until the present day.
