The limestone Biokovo massif, which is administered and protected by Biokovo National Park, offers wonderful hiking opportunities. If you’re hiking independently, you have to enter the park at the beginning of ‘Biokovo Rd’ – basically the only road that runs up the mountain and impossible to miss – and buy an admission ticket there.
