This Renaissance synagogue, dating from 1669, is the highlight of the Jewish Quarter with its beautifully restored frescoes and a wonderful historical model of the ghetto as it appeared in the mid-19th century. Entry is by 30-minute guided tour, with tours scheduled at least once an hour.
