At the Ærø ferry dock is the Maritime Centre, with its HQ inside a candy-striped timber warehouse (Pakhuset) from the late 19th century. The centre arranges cruises on historic sailing ships in high summer (late June to mid-August), with the possibility of sailing from various ports in the area (Svendborg, Faaborg, Marstal and Ærøskøbing on Ærø, Rudkøbing on Langeland).
