The old part of town lies just to the north and west of the cathedral; the tourist-office brochure outlines a map and important monuments and buildings. Sankt Mogens Gade has a charming pocket of homes from the mid-16th century, including Den Hauchske Gård at No 7, Villadsens Gård at No 9A, and Den Gamle Præstegård at No 11.
