Galleri Kobolt
The Galleri Kobolt is a small gallery in the town of Rudkøbing in the middle of Langeland in southern Denmark. This is where paintings and watercolors inspired by nature's light, colors and compositions made by the gallery owner Jette Høgh are on display. Throughout the year, the gallery also shows works from other local Langeland artists as well as artists from other parts of Denmark and the world. Exhibits include paintings, sculptures, ceramics, glass, and jewelry.
Other art that can sometimes be seen here include Henriette Lorentz's stone sculptures, Helle Scharling's turquoise glass sculptures, Poul Eliassen's unique dishes and bowls, Jørgen Minor's bronze sculptures, Lotte Engelbrecht's fine graphic images, and Gitte Buch's paintings. Glass art, watercolors, and paintings from other artists are also often on display here. At the gallery, visitors can admire Jette Høgh's work and get a glimpse of local Danish styles of art in a unique and intimate setting. The gallery also functions as her studio.
