Sefton Park
Among Liverpool’s most popular public parks is Sefton Park, a Grade I-listed, 200-acre park that opened in 1872 and features a boating lake, walking trails and cafés, as well as statues of Eros and Peter Pan. The star attraction of Sefton Park is the octagonal-domed Palm House, a striking glass-paneled Victorian conservatory, filled with tropical plants and seasonal blooms and listed as a Grade II English Heritage property.
While most visitors make a beeline for the Palm House, Sefton Park is also a scenic spot for walking or cycling, with beautiful displays of yellow daffodils and bluebells, grassy lawns for picnicking and several children’s play areas.
Practical Info
