Rauma Museum encompasses four sites. The impressive 1776-built Vanha Raatihuone has lace and changing local history displays. Marela is the period-furnished home of a wealthy 19th-century merchant family. At the other end of the social scale, Kirsti , a lovable collection of lopsided wooden buildings, represents home life through to the 1970s. Outside the Old Town (due to the fire risk), Savenvalajan Verstas once made distinctive stove tiles.
