This house-museum consists of various traditional Karelian red-painted wooden farm buildings that have been fitted out to depict traditional Kuhmo life at the turn of the 20th century for wealthy families and their servants. It’s a gentle, charming display of everyday objects from the past. The optional guided visit (English available) is worthwhile.
