Entry to the Verla Mill Museum is by guided tour (English available), and you can bring a picnic to have in the gardens or by one of the nearby lakes. Otherwise, there’s a cafe and restaurant here too. To get there, head just north of Heinola to the Kouvola turn-off, and follow that to Jaala, where there’s a signposted left turn to Verla.
