During WWII. residents of Chambon-sur-Lignon played a courageous role, sheltering over 3000 refugees, including hundreds of Jewish children, from deportation by the Nazis. Through photos, timelines, bilingual informational panels and audiovisual presentations, this brand-new museum, opened in 2013, documents the history of the many local residents who participated in this non-violent resistance.
