Open since 1953, this was once one of East Berlin's most popular cafes and still makes for a delightfully retro coffee break. It also features a small exhibit charting the milestones of Karl-Marx-Allee from its inception to today.
The exhibit features portraits and biographies of the architects of KMA, alongside posters, toys and other items from socialist times. There's even a piece of Stalin’s moustache scavenged from the nearby statue that was torn down in 1961.
