Johann Sebastian Bach, who was born in Eisenach in 1685, takes the spotlight in one of Germany’s best biographical museums. Exhibits trace his professional and private life through bilingual panelling, and culminate in a modern annexe, where you can sit in suspended bubble chairs and listen to the wide range of musical contributions made by this versatile genius. Admission includes a 20-minute concert played on antique instruments.
