In the middle of fields just outside the village stands an extraordinarily well-preserved circular Minoan tomb. Its stone walls stand 2m high. Side rooms were used for ritual purposes. Follow the signs to Tympaki and just after the small white church, look for signs to the right and about 500m on, again to the left. You can drive through the olive groves on a dirt road for about 1.2km. (Alternatively, this is also a pleasant walk). A walking track leads for around 500m to the site.
