Along Daliani, you will see one of Hania’s two remaining minarets and pass this restored 16th-century structure. In addition to the courtyard cafe, which hosts occasional live music and cultural events, the old monastery is now the home, atelier and hairdressing salon of Hania’s famous formerly Paris-based celebrity hairdresser-cum-sculptor Karolos Kambelopoulos. There are sometimes art exhibits on the 2nd floor too.
