A great place for kids to get up close and personal with a whole range of animals, 'Once Upon a Time' Park, an extension of the Budapest Zoo, offers a veritable menagerie that can be petted, fed and ridden on. Added amusement is provided by a set of rather tame (but very child-friendly) rides including a carousel, a roller coaster and a fairy-tale boat.
Among the four-legged creatures you'll spot here are camels, goats, horses, sheep, deer, llamas and wild boars, while the winged variety includes emus, ostriches and flamingos. There are sandpits, wooden play houses and climbing frames too.
