The area east of Szőlősi út is a veritable patchwork of traditional houses, with thatched roofs and orderly little flower and vegetable gardens - a nice respite from the hubbub of the beach. One of them, the Gáspár Nyúzó House, is a former potter's residence and contains antique potting wheels, drying racks, furniture and plates in pale primary colours and patterns of stars, and birds and flowers unique to the region.
