On the banks of the city’s fishing lake, this open-air museum contains more than 40 18th- and 19th-century farmhouses (porták) moved here from two dozen villages in the Őrség region. The most interesting of these are the Croatian, German and ‘fenced’ houses and if you’re lucky, you’ll catch a folk craft and dance demonstration (every other month).
