Tree-lined Konstantin tér, to the southeast of Március 15 tér, is dominated by the town's colossal cathedral, which dates from 1775 and was one of the first examples of neoclassical architecture in Hungary. The frescoes on the vaulted dome and the altarpiece are by the celebrated artist Franz Anton Maulbertsch and well worth a look.
