A fascinating – and, for Hungary, unusual – museum is Ladics House, the perfectly preserved and beautifully furnished late baroque residence (1801) of Dr György Ladics and his prosperous bourgeois family. It offers an excellent look into what life was like in a Hungarian market town in the mid-19th century.
