This supreme-looking tower house castle is straight from the pages of a fairytale. Originally dating to the 16th century, the ruin was restored by an American in the 1970s, who invited the entire village to a bash at the castle upon its completion. You cannot enter the castle, but aim to pass by at sunset for excellent photos with the setting sun.
Coming from the Cliffs of Moher, take the small, steep and sinuous road off the R478 and follow it down to Fisherstreet to the castle.
