A thatched replica of a Neolithic hut contains the Lough Gur Stone Age Centre, which contains a helpful information desk and good exhibits on prehistoric Irish farms, plus a small museum displaying Neolithic artefacts and a replica of the Lough Gur shield that's now in the National Museum in Dublin.
