The last resting place of the patron saint of music features Pietro Cavallini's stunning 13th-century fresco in the nuns' choir. Inside the church itself, Stefano Maderno's mysterious sculpture depicts St Cecilia's miraculously preserved body, unearthed in the Catacombs of San Callisto in 1599. You can also visit the excavations of Roman houses, one of which was possibly that of Cecilia.
