In a field off the main road between the Roccia dell'Elefante and Valledoria, you’ll pass the Nuraghe Su Tesoru on the left-hand side. More correctly known as the Nuraghe Paddaggiu (meaning haystack in Sardo), this was one of the last nuraghi to be built. Only the central tower remains in any recognisable form but originally there were also two lateral towers. It's best admired from the comfort of your own car as stopping on the main road is not exactly convenient.
