Stintino’s tuna-fishing heritage is documented at this, the town's sole museum. At the time of research, the museum was closed prior to being transferred to a new location overlooking Porto Minori. The plans for the new building call for six rooms to be ordered like the six chambers of the tonnara (the net in which the fish are caught), with documents, photos and computer displays illustrating the centuries-old fishing methods.
