In town, the small shingle Spiaggia Centrale is good for a quick dip, but the finest beaches lie further south. Further along the waterfront is the narrow sandy strip Spiaggia Palmasera , interrupted by rocky stretches (watch out for sea urchins). Better for splashing around in the aquamarine sea is Spiaggia Sos Dorroles , 1km south, backed by a striking yellow-orange rock wall.
