This church was rebuilt c 1524 on the site of a 10th-century church. Sansovino and Scarpagnino are alternately given credit for the stark but soaring Istrian stone facade, and inside (if you happen to find it open) is an early work by Tintoretto, Invenzione della Croce (Invention of the Cross).
