Just outside the park surrounding the castle is the impressive former synagogue, built in the 1760s. It has retained much of its original Rococo decoration and some liturgical items are on display. It's been closed off and on over the years for reconstruction, but most of the work now appears to be finished and the interiors are gleaming like few others in Poland.
