The country's first Dolphinarium (or Delfinarium) has been updated and modernised. Dolphin shows are held throughout the day in the large amphitheatre. Sea-animal encounters and shows have received criticism by animal welfare groups who claim the captivity of marine life is debilitating and stressful for the animals, and that this is exacerbated by human interaction.
