The town’s best church lies 2km south of the centre on Str Bethlen Gábor. The small fortified Chapel of Jesus is one of the oldest architectural monuments in Transylvania, built during the 13th century. It’s usually locked, but you can ask for entry at house No 143 on the main road next door.
