This small five-room gallery displays tools and living essentials from early peoples. Pottery, animal skin huts, dugout canoes, a tiny model settlement and many early hand tools are here. Don't miss replicas of small 'Paleolithic Madonnas', early carvings (in mammoth tusks) of the female form.
There's also an atmospheric log-lined hut on the main floor, with furs, dried fish, wolf's head and stuffed birds. In front of the museum, check out the reproductions of the petroglyphs found at the ancient Sikachi-Alyan site.
