Housed in a renovated art nouveau building behind the government office, the National Museum has two rooms downstairs dedicated to the natural environment and upstairs rooms on culture. The exhibits on Bashkir history and current events are the most interesting; all descriptions are in Russian only. Walk a few minutes south along ul Lenina from the Trading Arcade to ul Pushkina.
