The oddly-named Chinatown (it has nothing to do with China) is Novi Sad's up-and-coming creative district, a ramshackle jumble of cobbled alleys, boat workshops, band rehearsal garages, alternative clubs and secret kafane hiding behind mounds of rubbish and sprawling vegetation. It's a makeshift cultural centre that hasn't been gentrified (yet) and makes for a great afternoon amble or unusual spot for socialising with locals.
From the city, catch bus 4 to Limanski Park; walk across the park, and cross the road once you get to the skate ramp. The brightly coloured building on the corner heralds the start of Chinatown.
