Mediana, on the eastern outskirts of Niš and a short walk from Ćele Kula, is what remains of Constantine's 4th-century Roman palace. Digging has revealed a palace, mosaics, forum and an expansive grain-storage area. Mediana was closed at the time of research for renovations.
