The Museu Etnogràfic concentrates on Ibiza's rural heritage and occupies a stunning old casament (farmhouse). In its porxo (long room) are carpentry tools and musical instruments including drums made from pine and animal skins. Other exhibits include billowing wedding dresses, ceremonial necklaces, and an huge olive oil press.
Room 9 has a framed privateer’s license, the legal certificate granted to Ibizan corsairs by the Crown, authorising them to attack pirate vessels.
