In front of the cathedral spreads the sumptuous Plaza del Obispo, where the blood-red Bishop’s Palace, the Palacio Episcopal, forms an exhibition space, generally for sculpture and paintings. This square with its central fountains and aesthetically restored buildings is one of the most beautiful in the city.
