This beautiful whitewashed structure dates from 1568. Its most impressive features are its defence tower (used as a shelter during pirate attacks) and wonderful entrance porch (complete with mighty supporting pillars). Inside, its interior is simple and whitewashed throughout, except for the dramatic churrigueresque-style altar. Mass is held on Sundays at 11am.
Italian architect Calvi designed the church; he was also responsible for the walls of Dalt Vila in Ibiza Town.
